Lots of saws sawing & hammers hammering today. I was only at 523 briefly - when I went back over this afternoon, the dormer in the attic & the attic area itself are really taking shape. It's the last "mystery" of 523. Its change to a cathedral ceiling has made a dramatic difference - it's a quirky area but someday in the future will make a great TV room (and book reading room from a future window seat beneath the dormer window overlooking an area of the bay & Whidbey Island - on second thought, how much reading can get accomplished with that view calling out?)
